Chlorella is one of the earliest life forms on Earth—a unicellular freshwater microalga that has survived for over 3 billion years.

In 1890, Dutch microbiologist Martinus Willem Beijerinck discovered this remarkable microscopic organism using a 600x microscope.

Captivated by its appearance, Beijerinck gave it a beautiful and fitting name: “Chlorella”.

Chlorella is rich in protein, essential amino acids, polysaccharides, pigments, fatty acids, a wide range of vitamins, and minerals such as iron, calcium, zinc, and potassium, offering comprehensive and well-balanced nutritional value.
